Duties & Functions (Administration of Evaluation)
The Administration of Evaluation undertakes the following tasks and functions:
A- Collecting information on the performance level of Higher Education institutions and the performance level of academic programs.
B - Making a database of Higher Education institutions relevant to national assessments of their outputs.
C- Conducting studies and research related to evaluating Higher Education institutions.
D- Conducting national examinations in the various disciplines included in the academic programs offered by Higher Education institutions in coordination with the relevant authorities.
E- Conducting national examinations to graduates of Higher Education institutions on a regular basis.
F- Submitting regular periodic reports to the Secretary-General on the performance level of graduates of Higher Education institutions in national examinations to be discussed in order to make recommendations to the Minister to take appropriate decisions.
G- Setting criteria for student admission, as well as national examinations for students wishing to enroll in Higher Education institutions.
H- Analyzing the results of the national examinations to determine the extent to which students have met the admission criteria in Higher Education institutions in coordination with the relevant authorities.
I- Annually conducting national examinations to students wishing to enroll in institutions of Higher Education.
J- Submitting periodic regular reports to the Chairman of the Council and circulate them to Higher Education institutions on the level of students performance taking these exams.
K- Conducting and publishing studies and research related to the development of the evaluation process for students applying for admission to Higher Education institutions.
L- Informing the Secretary-General about the formation of the external evaluators committees of Higher Education institutions, according to the specified conditions and controls.
M- Any other tasks assigned by the Secretary-General or required by the nature of its work.
